The Brotherly Path

To kick us off!

Kyle and I have been talking and we are ready for some changes!

Kyle's goal is to create healthier eating habits and mine is to quit smoking.

How:
Since we are making these changes for life and not a temporary period we are going to build in to these goals.

Kyle:
Week 1 goals:
Eating a healthy lunch everyday Monday-Friday.
Drinking more water.

Daily when available I recommended posting what he ate daily.

Weekly at the end of every week Kyle will give us a debriefing on:
How he ate
What he ate
What worked/didn't
Issues he may have ran into

Patrick:
Week 1 goal:
Smoke 4 less cigarettes a day then average (average: 16 goal: 11)

Daily I will try to post the amount I smoked.

Weekly post about issues I am having with quitting. Things I have noticed in why I smoke and at what times I smoke the most.

Awards:

Kyle:
For every two weeks Kyle sticks to what we agree on I will pay for him and I to golf 9 holes this summer.

Patrick:
Still trying to figure that out! :/

Thanks!
Let us know what you guys think or any ideas you have or come across for either one of us!

  1. Looking forward to Super Bowl Sunday and spending it with some family. As far as I know everyone is welcome. I plan on making healthy foods for everyone to enjoy. There will be mushroom tacos, meat tacos (hamburger from grass fed cows) some homemade guacamole with veggies and some multigrain chips that Patrick is bringing, an awesome veggie frittata and yes even no bake cookies with a healthier variation… Not fat free but at least they won't kill you and will have to put a limit on these LOL. Any other ideas?

  4. I thought Patrick was going to treat himself to Joy Luck if he meets his goals? If not that, because food is not always a great reward, maybe some sort of thing that you like to buy that maybe you have to string together a few weeks in order to get. Something like clothes or books?

  5. I would love to treat myself to Joy Luck every two weeks ha ha. Realistically I shouldn't be spending or eating that every two weeks though. I will take some golf lessons from Kyle, Mom, Dani, and Jordan if you guys would be up to that this summer?!

  6. Love Joy Luck but probably what Kj says is correct that food is not always a good reward
